Nicholas Naquan Heyward, Jr. was a 13-year-old honor student playing cops and robbers in a stairwell in Gowanus Houses when a housing police officer shot and killed him. The cop who killed him was exonerated by the District Attorney and never faced any charges. Please join Nicholas Jr.'s family and friends to mark the date young Nicholas lost his life.
